Industrial Tech students received the opportunity to attend Western Welding Academy Day out of Gillette Wyoming. Thank you South Sioux City Schools for making this happen. This is the #1 welding academy in the world and provided the opportunity to expand their knowledge on the career field. It provided insights into the life of a welder and sheds light on the increasing demand for skilled labor in the US. James Pick got to compete in a welding competition among 250 other students!
