
On Mon, Apr. 22, Industrial Tech students will have the chance to visit Thompson Solutions Group in Sioux City. Thompson will give students a rundown of careers/jobs available, along with allowing us to tour their facilities. Students must sign up with Mr. Macholan to go along!

HNPS jazz band earns trophy status at USD jazz festival. USD is a tri-state jazz festival with jazz bands competing from Nebraska, South Dakota, and Iowa. HNPS jazz band earns 3rd place after a tiebreaker for 2nd place with Homer. The last time the HNPS jazz band had placed in the Coyote jazz competition was in 2014. They recently earned another trophy at Northeast in 2022. Mrs. Hahne states that the band is improving and growing in their jazz abilities.
Jazz soloist awards. A student has to be nominated for a soloist award by two of the three judges. Earning soloist awards at Coyote Jazz Festival were Trynity Zach- Trumpet, Abby Anderson-Piano, and Kaydence McCray-Bass Guitar.


Weather-related announcements: Golf at home today (Apr. 1) has been moved to Tuesday, April 9. Track & golf scheduled for tomorrow (Apr. 2) has been postponed. Track will be run Thursday, April 4, while we are looking for a date for golf. #GoCats
