Congratulations to all of the students competing in State FFA April 2-4 and are in the following events: Floriculture- McKenzie Bruning, Maddie Steffen, Katelyn Wubben and Kora Kneifl. Livestock Managment- Karissa Bruning, and Adeline Pinkelman. Agronomy- Cole Heimes, Gabe Reyes, and Jason Heimes. Welding- Cris Kneifl and Ty Opfer. Livestock Judging- Ashton Wakeley. Poultry- Jade Ford and Ali Ford. FFA Choir- Aaralynn Collier and Kyptin Collier. Ag Demo- Karissa Bruning. The following seniors are also recieveing their FFA State Degrees: Maddie Steffen , McKenzie Bruning, Cole Heimes, and Aaralynn Collier.
Class C All-State Band Participants. Kyptin Collier-1st Chair Tuba-Symphonic Band, Ashlynn Dailey - 3rd Chair French Horn- JH Band, Alyk Zach-Trumpet-Symphonic Band, and Trynity Zach-2nd Chair -Wind Ensemble. Not Pictured - Ellie Lammers- Alto Sax - Symphonic Band was unable to attend. Students were selected to participate by an audition among all Class C1 and C 2 Schools.

District Speech has been postponed until Friday, March 21 at 9:00am. There will be No School for students on Friday. #GoCats
The district speech meet to be held in Hartington will now start at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow, March 20. Speech team members should report at 11:30 a.m. Teachers should report at their regular time.
Due to the blizzard warning, there will be no school tomorrow, Wednesday, March 19 at HNS. No practices or activities.
The HNS jazz band earned 2nd place at the USD jazz festival!
