UPDATED!!!!! **Schedule Change** The JH basketball game vs. Ponca has been moved from Saturday, February 8th to Monday, February 10th at 2:00 pm in Hartington. Full A and B games.
JH Basketball today at 2:00 pm. The girls will play in the Elementary gym and the boys will play in the high school gym. Full A and B games starting with the A game. High School basketball on Friday, no JV girls, JV boys will start at 5:00 pm with varsity girls to follow.
With tomorrow's 10:00 start, we will start in third period for grades 7-12. The MAP test scheduled for tomorrow will be postponed. #GoCats

Mr. Macholan’s 4th-grade class is off to an amazing start in the ReadBowl, a 4-week national reading competition that coincides with the NFL playoffs. The goal? To emphasize the importance of reading and to show just how much students can achieve when they set their minds to it!
In Week 1, Mr. Macholan’s class logged an incredible 7,435 minutes of combined reading, and finished 22 chapter books! Every minute spent reading at school or home counts toward their total, and the students are responsible for tracking their progress in their reading logs. The footballs displayed behind the students represent 10 minutes spent reading!

Big Cats teamed up with elementary students in grades 3–6 today for an engaging session focused on practicing sportsmanship through various board games and card games Before diving into the games, students took time to reflect and listen as the Big Cats shared insights on what makes games enjoyable and fair. They discussed important elements like playing by the rules, supporting others, and fostering a positive environment. These thoughtful conversations set the stage for meaningful interactions as they played together, emphasizing teamwork, respect, and kindness.
The little cat branch will be open on Thursday morning!

Knights of Columbus Annual Free Throw Championship
Calling all sharpshooters! Boys and Girls ages 9-14 are eligible to shoot, this is your chance to show off your free throw skills and compete for the title! Please have birth certificate to verify age.
Event Date: Sunday January 26th
Location: Cedar Catholic MWAC Gym
Time: 5pm Registration/Warm Up & 5:15pm Shooting Contest
This is a great opportunity for kids to showcase their skills and have some fun!
