There will be no school tomorrow, Wednesday, March 5 at HNS. No practices or activities.

Due to the impending weather forecast and 2 p.m. dismissal tomorrow, Speech Night will be postponed to Tuesday, March 11 at the same time.

On Tuesday, March 4, Hartington-Newcastle Public Schools will dismiss school at 2:00pm . There will be no afternoon preschool on Tuesday, March 4. Because of potential weather tomorrow, Cedar Catholic's district final basketball game has been moved up to 3:00pm to accommodate the travel of their opponent. As a result, Cedar Catholic and Holy Trinity will be having a 2:00pm dismissal. Hartington-Newcastle will follow suit so that we can run afternoon buses as we normally would without creating a last minute issue that would require some families to find transportation home. To add to this situation, the weather tomorrow afternoon could potentially cause travel problems, so we hope an early dismissal gets everyone home without incident. Thank you, and #GoCats!
