On Thursday the jr. high attended the 13th annual Missouri River Watershed Festival in Yankton. The day was spent at Riverside Park learning how the Missouri River impacts all life in our ecosystem. It was a beautiful day to be outside learning about our world

After reading the book, A Long Walk to Water, the HNS seventh grade took on the challenge to carry water in order to gain insight of what many girls and women in Africa must do to bring water home for their families to drink, cook, etc.

1st-3rd grade went to Felber Park for a story walk! Ms. Kim from the Hartington Library dressed up as a chicken and helped us read Chicken Large. We also got to spend the afternoon playing at the park!

The 1st grade class created Dr. Seuss Characters and wrote a short story about them. The high school sewing class took their creations and turned them into a 3D stuffed creations. Great work to all the students involved!
