2024 Elementary Band selected from auditions across the state to perform at the Nebraska Music Educators Convention. All bands are selected based on a recorded performance sent to the NMEA. This is the 3rd time HNPS has been selected to represent the state of NE in a music competition.

Hartington Newcastle FFA member Karissa Bruning and partner Breah Steffen earned 2nd place in the Ag Demonstration event, qualifying them for the State Conference in April. Their demonstration, which taught how to properly trim and show a goat, was impressive. Congratulations to both of them!

The HNS one-act took third at the GNAC conference tournament yesterday. Congratulations to Cole Heimes and Lainey Morten on being named two of the four conference outstanding performer medalists! #GoCats

On Novermeber 12 at 5:30 there will be a FREE Concert for the Public hosted by Summerland High School. This is a day all the schools in our conference get together for the day to learn 5 songs and perform together. It is a wonderful day making music with new people.
