Congratulations to the HNS weight training classes. After the first semester, male athletes have increased their maxes on our 4 core lifts by an average of 33.5 lbs. Female athletes have increased their maxes by 23.5 lbs. Our goal for the 1st semester was 12.5 lbs. #GoCats!

First annual GNAC Conference Honor Band
Medalist from the event in the Honor Band were Trynity Zach- Trumpet 1, Alyk Zach- Trumpet 2, Ryell Haug- Trumpet 3, Kyptin Collier-Tuba, Autumn Anderson- Flute, Emily Climer-Percussion, Aidan Anderson-French Horn, Katelyn Uldrich-Clarinet3, Issac Santiago-Clarinet 1.

The GNAC Conference Honor Band was held at Lutheran High North East in Norfolk, NE on Monday, January 27th with a clinic starting at 9:45 AM to prepare for an afternoon concert consisting of the Symphonic Band, Honor Band, and a percussion ensemble. Guest Conductors were retired director Pat Sedivy, Concordia Band Director- Robert Cody, and Percussion Director from Concordia- Bennett Jandreau.

Uniting voices, creating harmony- Hartington-Newcastle Choir students will attend WSC Honor Choir on Friday, January 31, 2025. They will have a concert at 4pm!

Some of our industrial technology students had the privilege of participating in the Western Welding Academy 2025 Blue Collar Tour! Western Welding’s crew brought the energy to the South Sioux City Mini dome with an incredible presentation for area students!
