Announcements:

-Congratulations to the girls’ basketball team on winning the sub-district basketball tournament last night. HNS beat North Central 51-38 and now advance to next Friday’s District Final. That game opponent, site and time will be determined today.

Also, a huge thanks to our students and fans for showing up loud and proud!! Your support is very much appreciated!!

 

- The winners for matching the correct names & faces of the African Americans in the window display are Dylan Dendinger with 10 correct matches and Taylor Rogers, Michael Pinkelman, Mani Lange, Alivia Morten with 9 correct matches each.  See Ms. Ekberg for your free cat snack!

-Boys HS Basketball game tonight at home against Randolph. JV boys at 6:15 with Varsity boys to follow.

 

-Concession stand workers for tonight’s games is the FCCLA group!

 

-Seniors, PLEASE get your senior pictures and baby/toddler pictures to the yearbook staff or Mrs. P.  We want to have the senior slideshow completed for prom!!

 

-Yesterday’s FCCLA’s trivia question was: What city & state is the 2019 National Leadership Conference in? The answer is Anaheim, California. Today’s question is: What is the 2018-2019 FCCLA theme? Be sure to bring your entry, with your name on it, to the central office so you can be in the prize drawing.

 

 

- Tomorrow is the National FFA Week Kick-Off Dance.  The dance starts at 8 and ends at 11. All 7-12th graders are invited, there will be snacks and refreshments.  Next week, National FFA Week will include, dress up days, a coloring contest, daily trivia, and a daily animal find.  There will be a petting zoo on Tuesday, teachers breakfast on Wednesday, and drive your truck or tractor to school day on Thursday.  

 

-Tomorrow the HNS Jr. High Basketball Tourney concludes. The girls Consolation game is at 9:30 with HNS playing Wynot. The boys Consolation game is at 10:45 with HNS playing Wausa. The girls Championship game will be at noon with LCC playing Wausa and with the boys Championship to follow with LCC playing Wynot. All times are approximate after the first game.

 

-Basketball Sub-District action begins for our boys on Tuesday night at Wausa. They will play Elkhorn Valley at 6:00.
