-Mr. Kneifl would like to thank the following for their help in making yesterday's "Apply to College" Day a success. First of all thank you seniors. There were a lot of good things accomplished yesterday. Thank you to Hailey Fuerhoff, Erin Folkers, Erin Meisenheimer, and Caroline Nelson for their help setting things up.
Thank you to Sharon and Kevin Lammers as well as Carmen Jueden for your help. Thank you to Superintendent Johnson for getting the pizza and a very special thank you to Mr. Mike Johnson, Mr. Hilker, and Mr. Rob Bengston from Cedar Catholic for your help with student applications. Also thank you to our concession stand manager Mr. Stappert for their help in making this day a success.
Finally thank you to the staff for your help in promoting this day. It was all very much appreciated. One last note: the winners in the Teacher Trivia Contest will be announced later this week.

-Varsity Volleyball Triangular tomorrow at Ponca. HNS JV vs. Ponca JV at 5:30 in West Gym. Varsity game order is Ponca vs. Walthill at 5:30; Walthill vs. HNS at 6:30; HNS vs. Ponca at 7:30. Games will play ahead if possible. Team bus leaves at 4:00.
-District Cross Country Meet tomorrow at Pierce. Please dismiss the team at 1:30.
-Jr. High Volleyball at Wakefield tomorrow at 2:30. Dismiss the team at 12:45. Team bus will leave at 1:00.
-Jr. High Football tomorrow vs. Creighton at 4:00.
-The CCHS Senior Class is having a Haunted House on October 15th & 16th at 55986 880 Road, Hartington from 7pm-11pm each night. All ages are welcome. Cost is $5.00
-Mr. Haselhorst will have Detention Hall this week October 11-14
