-Congratulations to the Girls XC Team - They placed 2nd at the HNS Invite yesterday! Jessica Opfer medaled 2nd - with a PR of 23:46, Ava Noecker medaled 11th, Abby Anderson medaled 14th,

Clair Rolfes placed 16th and Madelyn Rosener finished her first competitive race with a 25th place finish.

 

Congrats to the Boys XC Team - They placed 4th overall out of 12 Schools with 74 competitors in their division. Carson Noecker medaled 1st - with a time of 16:34, Alan Santiago placed 20th,

Parker Albers placed 21st, Cole Rosener placed 24th, Lukas Wortmann placed 26th, Keegan Carl Placed 27th & Isaac Kuehn placed 33rd

 

Congrats to the HNS JH XC Runners: Aniston Wortmann medaled 4th,

Aaron Wortmann medaled 5th, Isaac Santiago-Hernandez medaled 7th

Brynn Bernecker medaled 10th, Isabel Rolfes placed 11th and Aidan Anderson placed 20th

-Button order forms are in Mrs. Pedersen’s room or the Central Office. Please turn in forms as soon as possible!

 

-Varsity Football today at 3:00 vs. Randolph. School will be dismissed at 1:00.

 

-Concession Stand Workers for today are:

2:00-4:00 – - Landon McIntosh, Barrett Bruning & Alex Reineke

4:00 – Clean Up - - Alejandra Reyes, Abi Rice & Maddie Steffen

 

-Pep Band will play at the football game day. Workers meet at 1:30, Band needs to be at the field by 2:30.

 

-HNS will host the Varsity Volleyball Quad tomorrow. Starting at 9:00. Schedule is: 9:00 – HNS vs. Randolph; 10:00 – Winside vs. Howells-Dodge; 11:00 – HNS vs. Winside; 12:00 – Randolph vs. Howells-Dodge; 1:00 – Winside vs. Randolph; 2:00 – HNS vs. Howells- Dodge. Games will play ahead if possible.

-Attention students in grades 9-12:  Auditions for speaking parts in the one-act will take place on Tuesday, August 31 in Mrs. Stappert's room.  Please sign up for a time on the sheet on the bulletin board if you would like to try out for a speaking role.  If you would just like to be a member of the chorus or ensemble, you do not need to try out, you just need to sign up on the sheet on the bulletin board.  If you would like to audition for a part, but cannot make it on the 31st, please see Mr. Johnson.

 

-Mrs. Kneifl will have Detention Hall next week Aug. 30 – Sept 3.

 

-Hartington Youth Bowling League for Grades 4th - 12th will have a Parents Meeting @ 5:30 at Broadway Lanes on Monday, August 30th. Practice will be on Mondays after school; League bowling will be on Tuesdays after school. Cost is $55 for the league and a USBC membership. Practice will start on September 7th with league running September 14th through November 9th
