Announcements:

-Conference Golf at Plainview at 10am today

-The boys golf team placed 7th out of 13 teams at Saturdays Pierce Invitational. Top finishers for the Wildcats were Reece Morten who placed 18th and Dayton Sudbeck who placed 24th out of 59 golfers.

-Congratulations to all the FFA members who received awards on Friday during the FFA Banquet. The new officer team was announced and are the following: President: Carter Klug; Vice President: Colin Potts; Secretary: Jordyn Steffen; Treasurer: Ethan Becker; Reporter: Isabella Hulit; Sentinel: Lane Heimes; Parliamentarian: Keaton Steffen; and Historian: Dalie Paulsen. 

-Congratulations to the girls’ track team on their great job at the Conference Track Meet on Saturday.

Jessica Opfer placed 2nd in the 2 mile & 4th in the mile

Kennedy Gotch placed 8th in the 800M

4 x 400 place 7th

4 x 800 placed 4th

Mani Lange placed 6th in the Pole Vault

Lauren Howell placed 3rd in the shot

-The following boys were place winners at the Lewis and Clark Conference Track Meet on Saturday in Hartington:

Kobe Heitman:  2nd - long jump & 6th - 100

Jake Peitz: 5th - Shot Put & 5th - 200

Lane Heimes: 3rd - Pole Vault

Kale Korth: 5th - Pole Vault

Bennet Sievers: 6th - High Jump

Mayson McIntosh: 8th – 200 & 7th - 300 Hurdles

Ky Rice: 8th - 110 Hurdles

3200 Relay: Kale, Seth, Dalton, Alan - 7th

400 Relay: Kobe, Jake, Lane, Mayson - 3rd

1600 Relay: Bennet, Jake, Kobe, Mayson - 2nd

The boys’ team finished in 5th out of 16 schools.  A big Thank You to all who helped on Saturday!  The next meet is the Norfolk Catholic Invite on Thursday in Norfolk.

-High School Awards Night is tomorrow night at 7pm

-There will be a meeting for any girls in grades 8-11 that are interested in golfing next fall on Wednesday, May 5 at 3:10 p.m.  The meeting will be with Coach Rob Bengston in the Science Lab.  Mr. Bengston would encourage anyone who has an interest to attend the meeting, even if you may have never golfed before, he'd be happy to talk with you.

-Yearbook pre-sales have begun.  Cost is $15 for seniors and $25 for others. See a Yearbook staff member or Mrs. Pedersen to order your book.
