-Congratulations to the HNS Speech Team--2021 Class C2 Runner-Up

HNS sent five entries to finals on Saturday to earn the runner-up trophy.  Omaha Brownell-Talbot was the team champion.

The OID team of Isaac Bruning, Carsen Hopping, Parker Hopping, Reece Morten, and Benner Sievers are the 2021 Class C2 State Champions.

Other medal winners were:

Entertainment - Carson Jones, 3rd

Informative - Delayne Sudbeck, 4th

Serious Prose - Reece Morten, 4th

OID - Lane Heimes, Jude Krie, Mani Lange, Alivia Morten, and Dayton Sudbeck, 5th

There will be a reception to honor the speech team on Thursday night at 7 p.m. in the commons.  All state medal winners will perform.  Everyone is welcome.

-Attention juniors and seniors involved in Big cat/Little Cat. Please check your school email accounts for info on the Big Cat/little Cat schedule for this round of elementary visits.

-A reminder for students and staff, Mrs. Molly Haselhorst's 4th Grade Big Cat/Little Cat activity is tomorrow. Please meet in the Commons at 2:50.

-Attention students in Grades 9, 10, & 11. The Cedar Knox Public power District is sponsoring a Youth Energy Camp in Halsey, Nebraska on July 19-21 this summer.  In addition to learning more about electricity students will learn new leadership skills. See the bulletin board next to Mrs. Pedersen's room, see Mr. Kneifl, or check your HNPS email for further information on this opportunity.

-Floral designs would like to remind you It is not to early to start ordering prom flowers! You can call over the phone or order in person. Open late 3/19 to help you with your selection!

-Yearbook pre-sales have begun.  Cost is $15 for seniors and $25 for others. See a Yearbook staff member or Mrs. Pedersen to order your book

-Close Up members your cookies orders will be here Tuesday, March 23. Please make arrangements to have them picked up if you will not be here to pick them up.

-HS track will travel to Mount Marty University for their first track meet of their season tomorrow. Team bus will leave at 8:45am. 

 

-Any boys interested in playing baseball this year can pick up a registration form at the central office.

-Any girls interested in going out for Softball can pick up a registration form from the central office.
