-Congratulations to the HNS speech team on winning the C2-2 district championship yesterday. HNS scored 170 points to win. Howells-Dodge was runner-up with 168 points. The top three in each event qualify for the state meet on March 19 in Kearney.

HNS will be hosting its annual speech night next Tuesday, March 9 at 7 p.m. All members of the team will perform. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Thank you to Mr. Stappert, Mr. Uldrich, and Mrs. Edwards for their logistical help as well as all of the staff who monitored halls throughout the day. Thank you to Mrs. Peitz and the booster club for providing the hospitality room and to Ms. Lange and close-up for running the concessions stand.
