 Announcements:

- If you would like to be in tonight's parade, meet Mrs. Noecker behind the school at 6:45 and join the Teens for Christ group.  I'll have a red truck followed by a church.    

-Circle of Friends: We will meet behind the school on Sunday, November 19th at 11:00am to go to Sioux Falls. If you are unable to attend, you must contact Mrs. Sudbeck ASAP!!

- Attention one-act play cast and crew: For Saturday, we will need to be at school at 10 a.m.  We will get ready in Hartington and then leave for Wausa at 11:30.  The performances will start at 12:30. HNS will perform at 1:30.

 

-Attention volleyball girls: If you have not turned in your uniform & hanger please turn them in to Coach Haselhorst ASAP!! 

 
-The National Honor Society will be hosting a pumpkin pie eating contest Monday during homeroom. One person from grades 7-12 will be selected. You must bring 2 cans of food to be entered for a chance of being picked. Participants will be announced Monday.

-Any students in grades 7-12 that are interested in being on a dance team, please sign up at the office or contact Mrs. Peitz.

- Today is the last day for American Education Week!

-The answers and winners for yesterday’s trivia questions were:

1 – Who has gone skydiving in Florida, zip-lining in Honduras and has a knack for baking and decorating wedding cakes? The answer is Miss Ekberg; the winner is Aspen Jansen

2- Who has a 10 year gap between two of their children? The answer is Mrs. Walter

-The questions for today’s trivia contest are:

1 - Who was born in Colorado, raised in Iowa but has lived more than half their life married in Nebraska?

2 – The State of Nebraska paid this person to tell people “where to go….” (This person worked for the Nebraska Department of Tourism)

3 – This person once coached Annabeth Gish when she was in High School. She has since co-starred on the X Files, CSI and Sons of Anarchy.

Put your answers in the jar on the front counter of the office by 1:00.

 

-There will be a speech meeting next Tuesday during Homeroom in the Commons for anyone in grades 9-12 who are interested.

 

-The Cedar County News is looking for two students that would like to work as interns. They need someone that likes to interview people and write. They also need someone else that would be willing to type for them and help wait on people that come through the door. If you are interested please contact Rob at the Cedar County News.
