Announcements:

-One-act Play Matinee will be today.  Elementary at 2, High School at 3.

-Please dismiss the one-act play cast and crew after 5th period.  Those who are in high school chorus should go there 6th period for rehearsal for tomorrow's program before getting ready for one-act.

-There will be no Religious Education class for the 7th-8th Graders tomorrow. Chosen and Y-Disciple Groups WILL be meeting at their respective meeting spots as usual. 

 -Attention seniors! There will be a senior class meeting Thursday in the Science lab with Mr. Kneifl

-Attention Juniors! There will be a junior class meeting on Thursday in Mrs. Peitz’s room.

-Thanks, to Matt Kolessa for getting his baby and senior pictures to the yearbook staff!  Seniors, please get these pictures turned in as soon as possible.

-Attention students who will be taking the December 9th ACT. If you wish to go through the John Baylor test Prep program please see Mr. Kneifl as soon as possible. The 1st session will be Monday, November 13th. If you think you want to go through the program but think you may have a scheduling issue please see Mr. Kneifl as things can be worked out.

-There will be a noon dismissal for Teacher’s In-Service tomorrow. We will run periods 1-4.

-Lewis & Clark Conference Academic Contest at WSC tomorrow. These students will be leaving at 7:30: Shaye M, Morgan K, Kayden J, Isaac B, Allie R, Ben R, Alex K & Kaitlyn H.

- Tomorrow the choir plus Autumn Lammers and Delayne Sudbeck will travel to Sioux City to record for the KCAU Sounds of Christmas program. They will leave at 8:00 am and return by 1:00 pm.

-The Veteran's Day program will be on Monday, November 13 at 2:45 instead of Friday as listed on the calendar.

-Hartington Newcastle FFA Blood Drive will be Monday, November 13th, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. To be eligible to donate, you must:

·Be at least 16 years of age ·Be in good health ·Weigh at least 120 pounds

·Eat a good meal prior to donate ·Present a form of identification at registration. 16 and 17 year olds must have a LifeServe Blood Center Parental/Guardian Permission Form signed by a parent or guardian and bring it back on the 13th. Sign up at the office and pick up a parental permission form. 

-KICK OFF THE SEASON WHILE GIVING BACK – BASKETBALL FUN DAY! Skills, Drills & Competition on November 14 at the Hartington City Auditorium. 3rd, 4th & 5th grades are 3:45-pm – 6:00 pm; 6th, 7th & 8th grades are 6:15 pm – 8:30 pm. Cost is $15.00 per student and supper will be served to the participants.

All proceeds will be going to support the Sanford Castle of Care Toys for Tots donation. Sign up forms are being sent home with the elementary. Jr. High can pick up a sign up sheet at the central office.
