-Homework detention hall for this week is Grant Rolfes – Wednesday & Thursday

-Booster Club Meeting this Sunday, May 4 at 7pm at the Hard Patch

- Please dismiss the Animal/Plant Science kids at 10:30 to head to the Ag shop for their field trip!

-During homeroom today cheerleaders and anyone interested in cheerleading next fall meet in the art room.

- Any current 7th-11th grade girl interested in attending AK Hoops skills camp in June hosted here at HNS, pick up a form from Mr. Rolfes. Forms due back by May 5th.

-Jr. High Field Trip tomorrow

-Golf Triangular tomorrow at home at 1:00. Dismiss the team at 12:10

-K-6 Spring Concert tomorrow night at 6:30. Gym will be closed all day.

-Any student in grades 7-11 interested in being in XC next year please attend an informational meeting Monday May 5th during homeroom. Meet by the front office. If you are unable to attend please talk with Coach Rolfes or Coach Fischer.  

-Anyone interested in being on the Hartington swim team can pick up a registration form at the office.

-Reminder: If you are interested in taking Driver’s Ed this summer, registration & payment must be either mailed or turned into the office by TOMORROW.

-3rd grade field trip to Niobrara State Park on Friday.

-JH GNAC track meet at West Holt at 10am on Friday. Team bus leaves at 7:15am

-FFA Banquet on Friday night at 7pm.

-Any girls interested in participating in the Wayne State Volleyball Camp hosted by HNS on June 5 can pick up a registration form at the central office.

-The boys’ golf team placed 7th out of 15 teams at yesterday's Hartington-Newcastle Invite shooting a 365.

Medal winners for the Wildcats were Kayne Gratzfeld who won the 8th place medal with an 82 and carter Kelly who won the 13th medal with an 84.

- High Jump: Brayden Lammers placed 4th with a height of 5-10

Pole Vault: Jason Heimes placed 3rd with a PR vault of 10-6

Long Jump: Cole Rosener placed 1st with a jump of 20-03 and Mason Krause placed 2nd with a jump of 19-05.50

Triple Jump: Mason Krause placed 1st with a PR jump of 42-03 and Maximus McCray placed 3rd with a jump of 39-08.25

Shot Put: Ayden Rosener placed 4th with a distance of 38-10

100 M: Cole Bensen placed 5th with a time of 12.44 and Landon Clark placed 6th with a time of 12.48

300 Hurdles: Jason Heimes placed 6th with a PR time of 45.77

400 M: Cole Rosener placed 1st with a time of 53.23 and Mason Krause placed 2nd with a time of 56.00

800 M: Cole Rosener placed 1st with a time of 2:10.05 and Issac Santiago placed 5th with a time of 2:23.95

3200 M: Aidan Anderson placed 2nd with a time of 12:01.44 and Issac Santiago placed 4th with a time of 12:26.54

4x100 Relay: The team placed 4th with a time of 48.07, the team consisted of Cole Bensen, Gabe Reyes, Maximus McCray, and Landon Clark

4x400 Relay: The team placed 3rd with a time of 3:54.84, the team consisted of Dane Gotch, Jason Heimes, Maximus McCray, and Gabe Reyes

4x800 Relay: The team placed 1st with a time of 9:30.52, the team consisted of Dane Gotch, Issac Santiago, Brayden Lammers, and Aidan Anderson

The Hartington-Newcastle Boys placed 2nd overall as a team. It was a great team effort and awesome meet leading up to the Conference meet on Saturday!
