-Results from Livestock Judging

Livestock Judging took place on Thursday at NECC. 

Sr. Team took 12th, members Karli Bruning and James Pick 

Jr Team took 5th, members included Gabe Reyes, Cris Kneifl, Will Feilmeier, Jason Heimes, and Colton Cavanaugh. 

-Congratulations to the HNS speech team on winning the varsity division of the HNS/CCHS Speech Meet Saturday.  There were 18 teams at the meet.  Wayne was the runner-up. There were two sets of finals, top six in the Champs final, next six in the honors final.

Entertainment - Alexus Hans, 5th

Humorous - Lainey Morten, 5th

Inform - Kennedy Gotch, 1st, Hazel Hochstein, 5th

Persuasive - Alexus Hans, 3rd

The next meet is Saturday, Feb 3 in Wayne. Speech team members should sign up for practice for the week.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the meet a success.  A big thank you to Sharon Lammers for all of the set-up of the rooms and to Kevin, Sharon, and Bill for all the work during the day Saturday and for putting things back together.  Thank you to the Booster Club, Rhea Lange, and Lori Peitz for organizing the concessions and the hospitality. Thank you to Mrs. Stappert for helping all day long and to Mr. Stappert for helping with tech issues.  Thanks to all the parents and students who helped by working concessions or hospitality and to everyone who came to support the team. 

-JH Basketball vs. TCNE starting at 2:00 with Boys ‘A’. Dismiss the boys at 1:15

-Wrestling Triangular at home at 6pm

-Bowling Districts in Wayne today.

-Girls Conference Basketball continues tomorrow with HNS playing Wausa here at 6pm.

-Concessions workers for Tuesday night's conference basketball games will be from 5:45-7:45 Kayne Gratzfeld, Wyatt Clark, & Cody Cavanaugh

-There will be a Close-up Meeting on Thursday during homeroom in Mrs. Spahr’s room

-The Hartington Swimming Pool is taking applications for pool manager, assistant manager & life guards. You can pick up an application at the City Office or go on the web site. All applications MUST be turned in by Feb 16!!

- Track Athletes Grades 9-12:

The Wayne State College Track Camp is on Saturday, February 10th.

The Pole Vault Camp is Sunday Feb. 11th or 25th - 8:30am-12pm and the Hurdles Camp is Sunday Feb. 25th - 8:30am-12pm

Transportation is available! Entry Deadline is February 6th.
