-8th grade Career day at NECC. Dismiss at 10:40.

 

-Attention Seniors! The Newcastle Community Club Scholarship application is due to Mr. Kneifl by the end of the school day on tomorrow. You can find the Appcentri link to this application on Mr. Kneifl's webpage on the school's website. See Mr. Kneifl if you have any questions or concerns.

 

-Attention students in Grades 9-11. Please check your email for an announcement concerning the Nebraska Rural Electric Youth Energy Leadership Camp this summer. Cedar-Knox PPD is one of the sponsors for this event.

-Cedar Track Invite at 1:00 today. Dismiss the team at 11:17 so they can eat before they go.

-Optimism represents a state of hopefulness and confidence about the future (both short and long term). Optimistic people are planners and goal setters. They are enjoyable to be around and are often seen as hard working, conscientious, and able to overcome obstacles.

 

-Ron Rolfes is offering Drivers Ed again this year. Any student that will be 14 by August 15, 2023 can take the class. Mandatory classroom time will be May 31 – June 6 from 8 to noon here at the school. Cost will be $300.00. You can pick up a registration at the office. Sign up early as class size is limited.

 

-The HNS Invite was scheduled for the 6th of April, but due to the weather conditions was rescheduled for Thursday the 8th. Mani Lange was HNS's athlete of the meet getting points in the 4x4, pole vault and long jump. The girls are working hard and every meet brings more seasonal records.
