Announcements:

-Ron Rolfes is offering Drivers Ed again this year. Any student that will be 14 by August 15, 2023 can take the class. Mandatory classroom time will be May 31 – June 6 from 8 to noon here at the school. Cost will be $300.00. You can pick up a registration at the office. Sign up early as class size is limited.

 

-The Girls’ locker room is going to be painted tomorrow. Please get all of your belongs out of your lockers today.

 

-The winter academic All-State picture will be taken today at the beginning of homeroom.

-The following 4 students were selected to represent Hartington-Newcastle at this summer's Nebraska Leadership Seminar, McKenzie Bruning, Maddie Steffen, Cole Heimes, and Cole Rosener. These 4 students need to see Mr. Kneifl sometime today or tomorrow.

 

-Attention Seniors: today the Security Bank Scholarship is due. Everyone is eligible for this. All of these applications should be handed into Mr. Kneifl.

 

-There will be a senior class meeting today during homeroom in Mrs. Rolfes’ room.

 

-There is a short girls' basketball meeting today during Homeroom for any girl 8-11 grade interested in going out for basketball next year in Mr. Rolfes’ room.

 

-HNS Track Invite tomorrow starting at 11:00.

 

-Developing and nurturing the character strength of Fairness helps people to become trustworthy friends, responsible citizens, and generally moral people.

 

-The Cobblestone Inn is looking for part-time Housekeeping help this summer. Please stop in at the hotel and talk to Julie DeBlauw if you are interested.
