-Grant Rolfes & Rusty Fuller have homework detention hall this week.
-Reminder to students wanting to take Driver’s Ed: Registrations must be mailed into Ron Rolfes by tomorrow.
- Please get your yearbooks purchased for the 2023-24 school year. They will be published this summer and should be available by the start of next school year. Seniors, we will get yours to you.
-Conference Golf at Randolph today.
- There will be a meeting in the commons for ALL students interested in student council next year during homeroom on Tuesday. You must attend the meeting to be considered for student council next year.
-There will be a girls’ basketball meeting Wednesday during homeroom for all current 8-11th grade girls interested in basketball next year in Mr. Rolfes’ room
-WSC Math Competition on Friday.
-The Hartington-Newcastle Boys Track and Field Team had a very successful meet on Saturday, the team placed 3rd out of 16 teams.
Individual results to follow:
High Jump - Brayden Lammers placed 8th with a jump of 5-08.
Pole Vault - Jason Heimes was in a six-way tie for 7th place with a vault of 9-06, Cole Heimes placed 2nd with a PR vault of 11-00, and Kale Korth placed 1st with a PR vault of 12-00.
Long Jump - Mason Krause placed 3rd with a PR jump of 19-01.50 and Cole Rosener placed 1st with a jump of 20-10.
Triple Jump - Brayden Lammers placed 8th with a jump of 39-02 and Cole Heimes placed 5th with a jump of 40-00.
100 m - Will Feilmeier placed 5th with a time of 11.80.
200 m - Will Feilmeier placed 6th with a time of 24.53 and Cole Rosener placed 1st with a time of 23.48.
400 m - Cole Rosener placed 4th with a time of 53.78.
3200 m - Issac Santiago had a PR with a time of 12:20.35.
110 m hurdles - Kale Korth placed 5th with a PR of 17.11.
300 m hurdles - Cole Heimes had a PR with a time of 45.79.
4x100 Relay - The relay team placed 2nd with a team PR of 46.16, the team consisted of Kale Korth, Will Feilmeier, Maximus McCray, and Cole Rosener.
4x400 Relay - The relay team placed 8th with a time of 4:05.51, the team consisted of Ty Opfer, Dane Gotch, Brayden Lammers, and Jason Heimes.
4x800 Relay - The relay team placed 8th with a team PR of 10:01.33, the team consisted of Issac Santiago, Dane Gotch, Gabe Reyes, and Jason Heimes.
