-Congratulations to the cast and crew of the one-act play--2018 District C2-3 Champions!  HNS earned first place from all three judges yesterday and will advance to the state contest next Thursday, December 6, in Norfolk. We will perform at 10:45 am and there will be no school that day.

Congratulations to the following performers for receiving an outstanding performance award: Isaac Bruning, Dylan Dendinger, Belle Harms, Sam Harms, Kayden Jueden, Evvie Krie, Liby Lange, Lincoln McPhillips, Abbe Morten, Shaye Morten, Teagan Scoggan, and Willa Scoville.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day a great one by helping run the contest.  Thank you to Kevin Whelchel, Jess Gotch, Kennedy Gotch, Renee Pfister, Mary Ann Kneifl, Janet Manz, Faith Stewart, Corey Uldrich, Ken Kneifl, Cody Stappert, Lori Peitz, Deb and Tim Harms, Jeff and Heather Jones, and all the fans that made the trip and to anyone who should be on this list but is not.

-Attention students 16 years old and older. Golden Living Center, the Nursing Home in Hartington is looking to offer CNA nursing classes. Please see Mr. Kneifl if you are interested as there are incentive bonuses possible. There are also opening for Hospitality Aides.

-Button pictures will be taken during homeroom for the high school boys basketball players and any girls that need theirs taken yet.

-Close Up members your Scentsy orders are due today please remember to bring your packets and any scents that may you have.  Also, remember to bring your 4 – 2 liter bottles of pop for tomorrow.

-Students in grades 9-12:  There will be a meeting for those students who plan to be on the speech team on Friday during homeroom in Mrs. Stappert's room (this is a change from what was originally said).

-Student Council: you will be decorating the school for Christmas Friday after school.

-J.V./Varsity Basketball at home tomorrow vs. Ponca. Game order will be:  J.V. Girls 4:00; J.V. Boys 5:00; Varsity Girls 6:15; Varsity Boys 8:00

-Concession Stand Workers are:

Immediately after school – 5:45: Jessica D, Zoe, Erica, Molly & Hailey F

5:45 – 7:30: Daisy, Erin F, Leah R & Caroline

7:30 thru Clean-Up: Erin M, Anya, Jessica O & Maya


-Seniors you may start to bring in your baby/toddler pictures for the yearbook.  Images will be scanned and returned to you.  If you have your senior pictures chosen please e-mail a digital copy to Mrs. Pedersen, Liby or Gina. You may send one for the yearbook and one for the slide show if you choose.
