Announcements:

-Congratulations to the HNS Boys District Champions!!

Carson Noecker is the 2019 District Champion, Brayden Kathol medaled 10th, Dagen Joachimsen medaled 11th, Chase Lammers Scored 22nd, Cole Noecker 32nd and Bode Noecker 42nd. 

Sara Reifenrath qualified as an individual medaling 7th place.

The girls’ team placed 5th overall in a very tough district.

-7 students to attend Hawkfest.  This is an honor choir and band held at Northeast Community College.  These students will represent Hartington-Newcastle in an all-day event to prepare songs for a concert to be held in the Cox Activities Center Auditorium at 5:30 PM.  Hope Hulit, Kalyn Martinson, Kaitlyn Willis, Zach Burcham, Leah Reichle, Logan Castillo, Alison Karnes.   Van will leave at 7:00am.

- Students, this is your reminder that you may not wear shorts during the 2nd and 3rd quarters of school.  We are now in the 2nd quarter.

- FCCLA shirts are in! You can pick them up in Miss Mecseji’s room. 

-Play practice Sunday night.  All cast and chorus except VB players, please come in at 6:15 to try on costumes.  Everyone starts at 7 p.m.

-If you'd like to be a part of the crew for the one-act play, please sign up by the end of the week.  A crew list will be posted next week.

-Community Service Day on Saturday at the Ag Shop from 9 to 12 pm. Everyone is welcome.... Writing a letter to the Armed Forces, making blankets for newborns, roadside clean up, and goody bags for the elderly. 

-Anyone interested in Wildcat Apparel can pick up an order form at the central office. Orders are due by Oct. 28.

-Varsity Football today at Wausa at 3:00. Team bus will leave 12:50. We will have a 1:30 dismissal.

-Lewis & Clark Conference Volleyball starts tomorrow. HNS will be one of the host sites. HNS will play at 2:00 vs. Plainview; then Bloomfield vs. Plainview; then HNS vs. Bloomfield. Also because this is a conference tournament game students will not be able to get in free.
