-Student Council Members will be selling Homecoming Dance Tickets during lunch today.
-Freshman: If you are eating Pizza tomorrow you need to get your $4.00 to Miss Lange by Friday morning.
-There will be a freshman class meeting today during homeroom in Miss Lange’s room.
-Varsity Volleyball tonight in Wynot Tournament. HNS vs Wynot at 5pm; Crofton vs. Bloomfield at 6pm, Consolation game at 7 with Championship to follow. Team bus will leave at 4:00pm
-Girls’ Golf today at West Holt at 9am.
-Cross Country Meet today at Beemer at 5:30pm. Dismiss the team at 2:00; leave at 2:15pm
-Homecoming Dress up day for tomorrow is:
Purple & White Day – Show your school spirit
-Coronation and Pep Rally is tomorrow afternoon at 1:30. The band will be in the stands playing for the pep rally not on the gym floor as was previously stated. The Parade will start at 2:45.
-Tomorrow night the Wildcats will take on Niobrara/Verdigre at 7pm.
Saturday will be the Homecoming Dance running from 8pm to 10:30pm
-The concessions workers for tomorrow night's Homecoming football game are: 5:30-7:30 -- Leah Steffensen, Rebekah Pinkelman, Riley Krause, and Ciara Pinkelman
7:30-Clean Up – Jacob Hayward, Alan Santiago, Tommy Folkers, and Ky Rice
-Reminder to the band members: attire for the pep rally and parade tomorrow is Purple Polo, Black Shoes, Black Pants & Black Socks. Please remember to bring this all to school with you in the morning. Also tomorrow the Percussion and large school instruments load at 5:30 PM. And all band members need to be at the field by 6:30 PM.
-Auditions for Northeast Band and Choir due - September 13th. See Mrs. Hahne for audition materials and times.
-Attention students in grades 9-12:
Auditions for speaking parts this year's one-act play, "Young Frankenstein", will be held Sunday evening in Mrs. Stappert's room. Please sign up for a time on the sheets on the bulletin board if you would like to audition for a speaking role. If you would not like a speaking part, but would still like to be a part of the play as a chorus/ensemble member, please sign up on the sheet marked chorus/ensemble on the bulletin board. You do not need to try out to be part of the chorus.
-District Tractor Driving at Pierce on Saturday.
-There will be a National Honor Society Meeting on Monday during homeroom for all old and new members in Mr. Hagen’s room.
-There will be National Honor Society Induction Practice next Thursday during homeroom in the Commons.
-Last year’s Yearbooks are in, see Mrs. Pedersen if you ordered one. Also there are some extra yearbooks if you did not order one and still want one. The price is $25.00.
-Thursday, September 12 - Ray's Midbell for band display in the HNPS Music Room for all beginners. Please use the Elementary entrance or the east door to the band room.
