-Close Up members your puffin orders are due Tuesday, Jan. 29.  There will also be a meeting during HR on Tuesday.


-HNS/CCHS Speech Invite tomorrow.


-Attention speech team members:  You may pick up a schedule for Saturday from Mr. Johnson.  All speech team members need to be here at 7 p.m. tonight to set up for tomorrow. 

-A Reminder to those seniors who are applying for the Susan T. Buffett Scholarship. The deadline is 1 week away. Make sure you have all that is needed submitted. Check your progress link to see if anything is missing. If needed double check with those writing your recommendations to make sure they are aware of the upcoming deadline. See Mr. Kneifl if you have any questions at this point.


-Jr. High Basketball Tourney at St. Rose tomorrow. Girls play in the morning starting at 9:00 against Crofton. Boys play in the afternoon starting at 1:00 against Crofton. Girls bus will leave at 8:00; Boys bus will leave at noon.


-Wrestling Meet at Plainview tomorrow starting at 10am.


-1st round of Girls Conference Basketball Tourney tomorrow. HNS will play at home against Walthill at approximately 7:30pm.


-Concession Stand Workers for tomorrow night’s games are:

5:00 – 6:30 – Kendra A, Karli B, Aida L & Emma W

6:30 – Clean-up: Abby A, Olivia G, Emalee H, Faith P & Rebekah P


-FFA Chapter had District Livestock Judging in Norfolk yesterday. Sr. Team got 4th overall out of 14 schools. Individually placed was Chase Lammers 6th, Kalyn Martinson 15th, Kerrigan Hoesing 29th, and Trisha Dybdal 38th. Other members of the team were Logan Buschkamp, Bode Noecker, Ben Loecker, and Brayden Kathol. Jr. Team received 8th out of 15 teams, with individual placing Nash Albers 8th, Carter Klug 34th, Caden Heithold 45th and John Lauer 64th. Other members of the team were Cole Noecker.
