-The 1st bowling meet for the Hartington HS CCHS/HNPS Coop bowling team

Was held Sunday, 9/9/18 at Broadway Lanes vs Wayne.

This year Hartington has just a men’s team.  In being moved to Class B,

We now need 5 bowlers for the meet and the women did not have enough

To fill a roster.  Therefore, the two ladies we do have are eligible to bowl with the men.

Hartington won the match:  11 pts to 10 pts.   The team won the 1st two sets of individual matches and were ahead 11pts to 5pts.  They lost the best 2 out of 3 Bakers format but the 5 pts won by Wayne. For this was not enough for Wayne to win the meet.

Team bowlers were:  Clarissa Paltz, Sadie Uhing, Charlie Dendinger, Aiden Gratzfeld, Logan Buschkamp, Tomas Kathol, Wyatt Wiebelhaus.

High Games:  Charlie: 162, 148,   Sadie: 134, Logan:  152, 162

Splits picked up:  Sadie: 6-7-10,   Logan:  4-7-10
