Announcements:

-Attention students who are taking classes for Dual Credit! Your applications are due to Mr. Kneifl on Friday, August 24th. Please see Mr. Kneifl if, for any reason, you are not able to get your application to him by that time.

- Will the following students see Mr. Hagen to get a student profile if they want to be considered in the selection of National Honor Society for this year. The profiles are due next Tuesday, August 28 come and get them ASAP so you will have time to complete them on time. The students are: Brenden Bennett, Austin Burcham, Logan Buschkamp, Hailey Gottsche, Gina Jueden, Turner Korth, Ellie Stencel and Ethan Lammers

-There will be a Student council Meeting tomorrow during Homeroom in the Commons.

-First football game of the season will be Friday with HNS playing Chambers-Wheeler Central–Ewing at home starting at 7:00pm

-Concession Stand Workers for Friday night’s game are:

5:00 to Halftime: Bella Hulit, Riley Krause, Aida Lammers, Alivia Morten, Kylie Clinebell & Kennedi Peitz

Beginning of Halftime to Clean-Up: Rubi Olsen, Ciara Pinkelman, Rebekah Pinkelman, Leah Steffensen & Kalli Breen

-Volleyball quad on Saturday at Randolph. HNS vs. Randolph at 9am, Winside vs. Howells-Dodge at 10am, HNS vs. Winside at 11am, Howells-Dodge vs. Randolph at noon, HNS vs. Howells-Dodge at 1pm, Winside vs. Randolph at 2pm. Games will be played ahead if possible.

- FFA Grill out has moved to Tuesday, August 28th do to sports conflicts. 

-Wildcat buttons can be ordered beginning Monday. Please order soon so your buttons can be made before the first competition.

-Yearbook are here and for sale.  If you ordered a book last spring or would like one now please stop in to Mrs. Pedersen's room.  Cost is $25.

- Attention all 6th-12th grade students: You are invited to a night of free pizza and comedy on Wednesday, August 22. The event is being held in Wausa at the High School.  If you can’t drive, invite your parents to come with you. Plan to be there for all the fun by 6:30pm. Any students who plan to attend can pick up a free ticket in the office. Hope to see you there!
