-Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball team on their win over Plainview last night!!

-Jr. High Volleyball at Wausa Tourney tomorrow. ‘A’ team at HS Gym vs. Wausa at 9am; ‘B’ team vs. Wausa at Auditorium at 10am.

Team bus will leave at 8:00am

-There will be one-act practice on Sunday for all cast and chorus at 7 p.m. in the gym.

- The Fall Blood Drive is Next Tuesday from 9 to 1:30. There will be no walk in this round so please sign up in the office if you are interested. Parent permission forms are needed for your first donation. The sign up paper will be picked up Monday at 3:00PM 

-Attention Juniors & Seniors! The college rep visitation schedule for next week is as follows:

On Tuesday, October 6th the rep from Northeast Community College in Norfolk will be here at 1:00.

On Wednesday, October 7th the rep from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota will be here at 9:00.

Please see Mr. Kneifl for a sign-out sheet if you wish to visit with either or both of these reps.

- District FFA was held on Wednesday here in Hartington... Senior Team received 2nd place with Sara Burbach placing 4 individuals, Mackenzie 11, Kendra 22, Ethan 25, Carter 38, Jordyn 44, Jenna 64, and Erica 77.  Jr Team Placed 3rd, with individuals placing Keaton 3, Carson 12, Daniel 15, Aiaden 25, Leah 32, Emma 44, Riley 68, Grayden 73. 

- Congratulations to the boys’ and girls' XC teams on yesterday's performance at Battle Creek. Both teams placed 2nd.
Sara Burbach medaled 6th with a 22:53, Jessica Opfer medaled 8th with a 24:07 and Makenzie Arens medaled 10th with a 24:28.

Carson Noecker took 1st place with a 15:45, Parker Albers broke 19 minutes with a 18:57 and medaled 10th, Riley Kuehn placed 17th with a 19:17

Junior High: 5 junior high runners received medals yesterday!

Ryan Wiedenfeld medaled 9th; Matthew Loecker took 14th; Braeden Reifenrath took 15th & Isaac Hernandez-Santiago took 18th

Lauren Bernecker medaled 4th, Claire Wieseler medaled 5th,

Ava Noecker medaled 7th & Bailey Hochstein medaled 8th.

-Youth ages 8-18 interested in joining the Cedar County Sharp Shooters Archery program are invited to an informational meeting at the Cedar County Fairgrounds on Sunday Oct. 4th at 5:00. Coaches, John Brodersen & Aaron Wiechelman will highlight the details of this years’ program which runs October –January.
