-Anyone wanting to help with Happy Feet after school today until 4:30 pm, please see Mrs. Haselhorst.
-HNS Jr. High Basketball tournament begins today. HNS girls vs. Wynot @ 1:30 with the HNS boys to follow at approximately 2:45.
-Girls Sub-Districts begins today with HNS playing Niobrara/Verdigre at Ponca at approximately 7:30. Team bus will leave at 5:15.
-There will be a Close-Up Meeting today during homeroom in Miss Lange’s room.
-The HNS varsity speech team tied Crofton for second place out of 14 schools at the Wausa-Osmond Invite on Saturday. HNS scored 40 points to tie for second. Pierce was the champion with 44 points.

The next meet for HNS is Saturday at Crofton.
-Youth Ages 11-18 interested in joining the Cedar County Sharp Shooters Shotgun Program are asked to stop by the office to pick up a flyer with information about how to join. The Sharp Shooters program enables youth to learn and develop safe firearm handling skills and sound fundamentals of shooting. It also offers opportunities for competition where youth can exhibit their skills.
-Track and field camp this Saturday at Wayne State. Not a better camp this close to home! All events except Pole Vault.
-Pierce Honor band is Saturday, April 4th. Auditions are due Monday February 24th. This is an event for grades 6-9. Please see Mrs. Hahne if you are interested.
