-Student Council members meet in the Commons right after school today to start decorating.
-Anyone interested in being on the dance team can sign up at the central office.
-Congratulations to the cast and crew of the one-act play, district C2-4 champions! HNS will now compete at the state contest next Thursday in Norfolk at 3 p.m. Congratulations to the following students for receiving Outstanding Performance Awards: Isaac Bruning, Sam Harms, Brianna Hopping, Autumn Lammers, Abbe Morten, Shaye Morten, Teagan Scoggan, and Bennet Sievers. Congratulations to the entire team on a truly outstanding performance against some truly great competition. Thank you for your hard work and your dedication to practice.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this contest run smoothly. Thank you to Kevin Whelchel, Jess Gotch and the entire staff at the Newcastle site for all of the work they did to get ready for the contest and their work the day of the contest. Thank you to Mr. Kneifl, Mr. Stappert, Mr. Uldrich, and Mrs. Peitz for giving up their day to help the contest run smoothly. Thank you to the crew members and Mr. Haselhorst for getting our new set pieces done even though we had the snow days and to Mrs. Noecker and the art students for getting the stones painted. -HS Basketball at Ponca tomorrow. Boys JV at 4:45; Girls Varsity at 6:15 with Boys Varsity to follow. Team bus will leave at 3:15.
-District football and conference volleyball pictures will be taken tomorrow, along with basketball button pictures.
-Attention juniors and seniors! There are 2 reps that will be here tomorrow. The rep from Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota at 11:15 that day and the rep from Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City, Iowa will be here at 1:30. See Mr. Kneifl or the ladies in the Central Office for a sign-out sheet if you wish to visit with either of these reps.
