-This week is Homecoming. The Theme is Music Madness.
Dress up days are as follows:
Tomorrow – Morgan Wallen Wednesday (Country day); Thursday is Thunderstruck Thursday (Rock and Roll Day) and Friday is Purple & White Day.
Coronation and Pep Rally is Friday afternoon at 1:30 with the Parade to follow at 2:45.
Friday night the Wildcats will take on Niobrara/Verdigre at 7pm.
Saturday will be the Homecoming Dance running from 8pm to 11pm
-The concessions workers for Friday's Homecoming football game are: 5:30-7:30 -- Leah Steffensen, Rebekah Pinkelman, Riley Krause, and Ciara Pinkelman
7:30-Clean Up -- Keegan Carl, Alan Santiago, Tommy Folkers, and Ky Rice

On Friday the Percussion and large school instruments load at 5:30 PM.
6:30 PM - Pep Band at field this is Mandatory. We play before the game and at halftime.
-Attention students in grades 9-12:
Auditions for speaking parts this year's one-act play, "Young Frankenstein", will be held Sunday evening in Mrs. Stappert's room. Please sign up for a time on the sheets on the bulletin board if you would like to audition for a speaking role. If you would not like a speaking part, but would still like to be a part of the play as a chorus/ensemble member, please sign up on the sheet marked chorus/ensemble on the bulletin board. You do not need to try out to be part of the chorus.
-Tomorrow there will be a noon dismissal for Teacher’s In-Service. We will run period 1-4 with Homeroom.
-Varsity Volleyball on Thursday in Wynot Tournament. Bracket to come.
-Girls’ Golf on Thursday at West Holt at 9am.
-Cross Country Meet on Thursday at Beemer at 5:30pm
-District Tractor Driving at Pierce on Saturday.
-Students: Please get your Homecoming flowers ordered ASAP! If you can’t get down to the Flower Shop after school they are open on Saturday from 9 to noon. Otherwise you can call in your order to 402-254-3943 or even Facebook message them your order.
-Last year’s Yearbooks are in, see Mrs. Pedersen if you ordered one. Also there are some extra yearbooks if you did not order one and still want one. The price is $25.00.
-Thursday, September 12 - Ray's Midbell for band display in the HNPS Music Room for all beginners. Please use the Elementary entrance or the east door to the band room.
