Announcements:

-There will be 9th-12th grade class meetings today during Home Room to discuss Homecoming plans for each class.  Meetings will be held in your class sponsor's room.

-Don't forget to hand in your National Honor Society papers to Hr. Hagen by the end of the day.

 

-The FFA Chapter had its first competition on Saturday at the State Fair. Milk Contest was held at Central Community College in Grand Island; Kerrigan Hosing, Bradley Dowling, and Freedom Rogers were the competitors’ team placed 16th. In Dairy Judging team members Keaton Steffen (received blue ribbon), Carson Noecker (received white ribbon), Dalie Paulsen, and Ben Loecker. Team placed 7th with a white ribbon. 

-Attention juniors and seniors! The rep from Northeast Community College in Norfolk will be here Thursday at 1:15. If you want to visit with this rep please see Mr. Kneifl for a sign-out sheet. Please get this sign-out signed and back to Mr. Kneifl by the end of the day on Wednesday. You would miss about the last 15 minutes of 6th period and the first 15-20 minutes of 7th period.

-HNS Cross Country Meet on Thursday at 4:30.

-High School Volleyball on Thursday at Crofton at 5:30. Team bus leaves at 4:15.

-Button order forms can be picked up from the Central Office or Mrs. Pedersen's room.  Order your buttons before the first game!!

 

-Last year’s Yearbooks are in, see Mrs. Pedersen if you ordered one. Also there are some extra yearbooks if you did not order one and still want one. The price is $25.00.

 

-Holy Trinity 8th & 9th graders (HT Confirmation Class of 2020): There will be a mandatory meeting tonight at 6:30 pm in the Holy Trinity Church for students and parents.

-September 2 - Labor Day the Marching Band and Flag Corps will perform in the Newcastle parade. Bus loads at 9am. Parade starts at 11am.

 

-Thursday, September 12 - Ray's Midbell for band display in the HNPS Music Room for all beginners.  Please use the Elementary entrance or the east door to the band room.

 

-Hearing screenings at Hartington will be this Thursday.
