Announcements:
-Will the following students see Mr. Hagen to get a student profile if they want to be considered in the selection of National Honor Society for this year. The profiles are due next Tuesday, August 27. Come and get them ASAP so you will have time to complete them on time.
Juniors: Kayden Jueden, Keanna Korth, Keeley Wiepen, Delayne Sudbeck, Isaac Bruning, Makenna Clarkson, Ethan Blatchford, Shawn Pinkelman, Caden Heithold & CJ Coffin.
Seniors: Alison Karnes, Freedom Rogers, Sam Harms, Austin Jansen, Carter Lammers, Keri Hoesing, Matthew Meisenheimer, Hope Hulit, Michael Pinkelman and Reagan Hansen.
-There will be a Student Council Meeting today during Homeroom in the Commons.
-Girls Golf meet tomorrow in O’Neill at 9am.
-FFA Welcome Back Grill Out tomorrow at 7pm in Felber Park.
-HNS Booster Club Kick-Off is Friday at 6:30pm.
-There will be a Sock Hop for grade 7-12 on Friday night from 8:30 to 10:30. Admission is $2.00. School dress code will be enforced!!
-Last year’s Yearbooks are in, see Mrs. Pedersen if you ordered one. Also there are some extra yearbooks if you did not order one and still want one. The price is $25.00.
-Holy Trinity 8th & 9th graders (HT Confirmation Class of 2020): There will be a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, August 27 at 6:30 pm in the Holy Trinity Church for students and parents.
-All-State Choir Practice every morning 7:00 AM - Auditions Oct 4-5
Flag Corps Practice every morning 7:45 AM.
Extra help available during the day for all band, choir and flags- Please see Mrs. Hahne.
-All Band, Choir, and Flag Corps please purchase a Black pair of Dress Pants, Black Crew Socks, and Black Close Toed Shoes.
-September 2 - Labor Day the Marching Band and Flag Corps will perform in the Newcastle parade
-Thursday, September 12 - Ray's Midbell for band display in the HNPS Music Room for all beginners. Please use the Elementary entrance or the east door to the band room.
-Hearing screenings at Hartington will be Thursday, August 29.
